Used office furniture, with the exception of seating,
hardly ever wears out. Cubicles made 30 years ago are being
remanufactured or refurbished and sold as good as new at a fraction of
the cost of this year's model. And with a few exceptions, most furniture
made since the early '70s is compatible with today's latest lines, with
the addition of a simple adapter or two, even if made by a different
